All nations around the world wants the world in peace, but with the notion that a given country can only give a given tangible or intangible resource of a country when that country can reciprocally get its equal benefit from it. The concept of zero sum game may apply the case of Indo-US relationship, the infrastructure purchases of the defense department of India from US may relate not only to the business aspect of the merchandize but it will create a long term bilateral relationship that will affect the future of the two countries.
At this time, why is it that India did not continue their purchases from American companies but instead shift their purchases from European companies. Does this scenario affect the Indo-US relationship? What if the Indian government not only putting more weight on the bilateral relationship but instead the technological specification and quality of the infrastructure. National purchases not only consider one side of the case but all variables that involves in purchasing any infrastructure assets of the Indian government.
