A Positive outlook of rural life; A Farmer's View

A stereotype idea of going to the cities to find a job for a living allows rural population to decrease in population and human capital.  The fact that industrial areas are continuing to spread towards rural areas, rural business and normal life is starting to evolve to city lifestyle.  As China suffers scarcity of farm products due to the national program of industrialization, food shortage in China is starting to affect the general public forcing the government to import farm products for basic food consumption.  As bloomberg TV announces the possibility of global famine, business analysts finds solution to maximize farming and prevent the predicted famine in the near future.  Rural workforce requires scientific knowledge as the sector of agriculture in the 21st century advances its technical demand. Agricultural engineers find ways to maximize production of farm products to supply the public demand, while the general population continues to consume the world food supply that causes the challenge of rural farming.

Thus, the challenge of ASEAN community is not to venture other foreign business' but rather to innovate the existing agriculture produce in the ASEAN region. Qualitative research is a must to decipher the back logs  of agriculture sector in the region, while local farmers must upgrade its scientific farming knowledge to meet the required knowledge demand of the new agricultural innovations.  The core concept of farming is to meet the equilibrium demand of food supply around the world considering the fluctuation of different agricultural produce in the region.  Furthermore, farmers must be taught the value of agri-business to conceptualize the market of their farm products, and eliminating "agri-business" cartels to encourage Agri-business SME's to dominate the business.  SME farmers are the driving force of the economy considering the quantity of farmer's population and the knowledge output of the farmers cooperative.

Finally,  may it be that the future of ASEAN farming will change its perspective to a more scientific approach considering the agricultural need of the public that will lead to the greatest task of agriculture of feeding the world and eliminate hunger.

Scientific farming is... using agriculture science to maximize production and prevent shortage of quota production. And of course good organic products.
