How can the human mind exist in the modern physical world: a comparison of natural human intelligence to the advancement of technology
The continued technology advancement allows our day-to-day
task easier to accomplish and will further result to a massive production or
accomplishments of finished product.
Accumulated knowledge in technology will replace the decision making of
a normal individual in the near future.
Consider the upgrading of robotics for example, this technology allows
the US military to send unmanned planes to the operation sites to accomplish
missions the same with what the normal soldiers are doing in the battle
field. The ability of technology gadgets
are starting to duplicate the human intelligence. In the near future,
intelligence of the created technologies will far more surpass the human
capacity to decide logically. Indeed, robotics
is more logical in decision making task compared to humans… to prove… if human
beings are given the task to decide, the normal tendencies of humans are to
decide through logic and emotion. But if
AI is given the task to decide things in a logical way, mathematical
calculations can be the immediate bases for decisions and the significance of
human intelligence maybe unreliable.
The constant accumulation of knowledge in computer will
transform the world in the near future; tremendous amount of knowledge stored
in the “cloud” will produce a unique knowledge crunch from the different
corners of the globe. The information
versatility will apply to any given problem in real time and will receive the
immediate feedback also in a real time manner.
Having said that feedback will occur in real time we can infer that
solutions to any problem can be achieved automatically.
With the continued knowledge exchange and accumulation in the internet, cloud computing will be far more understandable by
any normal human beings. To what limits can humans tolerate the massive input
of computer and internet knowledge. To
some psychological study, young people today are having mental problems in
using the computer gadgets due to the fact that the extensive usage of the gadget
will allow overload of data input activities in their brains. Normal tendencies of human being to get tired
and commit errors in decision making will prove that in the near future KMS
data stored in computer database are more useful rather than being dependent to
human instincts and emotions.
