Before the Paris Air Show, Airbus is upgrading their plane
not the engines but only the paint. As
a confident company of their product lines, Boeing is still logging behind the
general market choice due to the Battery failure incident with Japan airlines.
But not so fast, though the top 2 commercial
airplane manufacturers are Boeing and Airbus, never forget that Richard Branson
is innovating the next technology for airline business. Branson is like the owner of Google who keeps
on stepping up the technological upgrades of the Google car.
While Airbus and Boeing is still on the
market level where consumers are tied into two main brands only. If Branson will be successful in his Space
Tourism project, then the Airplane product technology will change to a higher
level.
But if we look at the experience
and performance of Airbus and Boeing then we may say that any uprising
manufacturing company for aviation will not survive the marketing competition. But if the two big names in aviation will
neglect innovation, time will come that other companies can change the market
buying behavior of airline business.
