The previous conservative mobile company is opening its
consumer using iOS and Android. The launching of the new BB10 will offer other
OS platform. I conclude that BlackBerry production
and marketing team are not arrogant in accepting other mobile OS platform.
By doing this marketing move, BBM can extend
its consumers reach to other OS platforms giving the BBM user the relevant usefulness
of the product. Mobile war is the name
of the game and one strategy of BBM is to accommodate other OS to be usable in
BlackBerry mobile gadgets. If other
mobile companies will do the same strategic collaboration, mobile hardware will
not matter as to what brand they belong.
This will prove that mobile devices in
the future will become cheaper with high OS accommodation. Once the competition
will become wider, the marketing strategy will become harder. At this point mobile device companies must
think ahead of time what would be the next best platform that can be offered to
the public.
Indeed, the lawsuit that
spends a lot of millions between Samsung and Apple Company is just a waste of
time and money. The smart strategy of
BBM will allow the consumer not to consider the OS anymore but the physical
structure and features of the mobile phone.
