Twitter is feeding more TV Companies; Do you think it’s Time to Sell your TV set in Ebay?



As Twitter Company announces its partnership with ESPN, I come to realize the shifting of TV consumers preferences towards the mobile internet.  Twitter is taking the advantage from the internet migrants and internet citizens of today.  

Even myself, I seldom watch movies in my TV set, all the news and programs are available in the internet. Taking as an example, when live football match or basketball match is on most of the people are in their work busy to accomplish the task for the day.  Staying in-front of the TV set is such a waste of time. 

  But with the help of your smart phone and with the new features of Twitter were ESPN Company can upload video clip highlights, it is easier for the fans to follow their game “tweets” even when they are on the move.   

On the other hand, sports TV providers are also upgrading their websites to cater the online viewers because they believe that in the long run TV sets are not lucrative in the hitech consumer market of today.  As to the Twitter company, what is best for the company is to find more TV companies for collaboration of platforms to cater the new cyber audience.  

I’m sure that the whole football match in the future will be available in just one twitter feed.  Therefore, we can watch football match in our future Google glass via ESPN twitter feed.  Maybe it’s time to sell your TV set in Ebay.
