I thought Megan Fox
will endorse products like Chevy and other American products but Acer? It’s an Asian
product. We are not after of the
commercial contract of Megan Fox but we are after why the PR department of Acer
is interested of Megan Fox as the endorser of the product. We can consider that Acer products do not
penetrate the market of Europe and the Americas yet due to the clear evidence
that Acer is based from Taiwan.
But
looking at the history of Sony and other Japanese products long time ago,
consumer trust of the Japanese products took years to build. At this time, Korean products like Samsung et
al. are competing with the European and American products. As to the case of Acer, it takes time to
build world marketing trust from the consumer.
Starting with the commercial of Megan Fox is a brilliant idea but try
sponsoring news network companies…like Bloomberg TV perhaps, or government
institutions in Europe and the Americas.
Building rapport with the general public needs a massive market programming
not only with Megan Fox. And PR strategy
in countries with massive academic marketing research is a challenging one.
Acer Company must be versatile in dealing
with International Marketing Strategies and Approaches. If we refer the case with the marketing
academic text, I may say that multiple approaches in dealing any marketing
situation is distinct to the particular market area of responsibility.
