Referring my thoughts from my previous blogs, I come to
realize the importance of logic in our daily living. The application of logic not only applies to
the academic arguments but rather the usage of the product of arguments being
discussed in the academic arena of ideas.
In a general sense, logic depicts the series of ideas being connected to
give a quality reason and fact in a given case.
The human picture of bad and good relates towards the society’s culture
and values. What is the society's perceived
norm and values would be the overall notion of being good and bad. On the contrary, Cogent Reasoning is another
significant aspect of logic that will play an important role in the existence
of society. Cogent and Fallacious reasoning
implies to the good reasoning with stable premise or bad reasoning with
unstable premise.
A premise that is bad
is a kind of premise that is not believable.
Most of the Philosophers or Logicians plays the concept according to the
stability of the premise and its factual evidence. For that reason, in the
field of law, philosophy, and research; facts are so important to support the
desired outcome of the argument. A
simple exemplification that we can consider is the process of transacting
business both public and private sectors, in this regard we can envision the
prerequisites and protocols that a given public or private company will set-up
as a program to effectively adhere all the necessary information needed to
pacify any given cases that will arise.
Logic in Language:
Higher study of language connects with the discipline of scientific
research were by language is the tool to connect to the reader the concepts a
researcher is having in his thoughts. As
such, the play of language involves logic reasoning to conceptualize and
connect the ideas in writing. In
addition, syntax correct formation is needed to formally present the different
forms of essay presented.
Logic in Managing News Information:
Daily news on the other hand, uses logical reasoning to
chronologically connect the series of events being observed. As we can view the different world events
either political or show-business, news presentation and delivery must connect
according to the facts being gathered to support the desired premise. Failure to adhere the sequence of the logical
order of events will weaken the whole presentation of the news. Without a doubt, news anchors and news
companies are very keen in scrutinizing the series of events before writing the
whole story in the daily news.
Logic in Business and Advertising:
Logic in business advertising commonly focuses its concerns
in strategic business and marketing executions. In this regard business
research will play a huge role in determining the business marketing execution
of a given company. As the modern
advertising involves a huge observation of human behavior, logical research
observation is an essential tool in determining the fluctuation of human
behavior in the business market.
As a whole, the fundamental concepts of logic and philosophy
will always be a useful reference for our daily decision making and living.
