Fresh from the Farm or Fresh from TESCO; Good Food, Good Body, and Good Mind (Urban Farming Inspiration)
I’m not saying that I’m getting old that is why I need to
eat and blog about vegetables. Eating
good vegetables will make my body strong, not only my parents are saying that
but scientific research will also show that people who are eating healthy
vegetables will sustain their body energy for the day.
But living in an urban place sometimes it’s impossible
to acquire fresh vegetables from the farm.
The project of most countries around the world is the hastening of the
transportation from “FARM to MARKET” road.
But despite of all road infrastructures being built to transport and
conserve time, still the products from the farm is not fresh enough to satisfy
the need of the urban people.
TESCO LOGISTIC TECHNOLOGY:
Tesco is innovative enough to create a high technology
logistic system (Cold Storage) in order to make sure that the farm vegetable
products will arrive in urban supermarkets as fresh as possible. Cold Storage technology for farm consumer
products needs a delicate and fast delivery granting that farm products is
having no preservatives to make the shelf life longer.
Aside from that, supply chain of TESCO for livestock
farming is having another quality standard being followed to make sure that
chicken, pork, and fish meat that will arrive in TESCO supermarket is having
the same freshness quality in the farm.
Thanks to TESCO high technology advancement in logistic system, I can
still enjoy the healthy vegetable produce same that with the farm.
URBAN FARM PRODUCTION ENLIGHTENMENT:
In the near blogs to come I will feature some of my topics
about URBAN FARMING. The new trend of
today is to SELF-SUFFIECIENTLY supply ourselves with farm products for food
even though we are in urban places.
In
the near future the problem of the world is food supply. Scientist are innovating more in agriculture
and genetic engineering to sufficiently supply the world with enough food. Therefore, when people will make urban
farming as a habit and a lifestyle the urban population itself can help the
scarcity of food supply from the farm.
