The two famous organizations that standardize the measurements and
applications of psychology are the American Psychological Association and The
British Psychological Society. From the
fundamental concepts of business marketing and psychology of Fayol, Maslow,
& Skinner, the modern academic world become more concrete in studying the
behavioral science applied in different faculties of society.
One
article that captures my attention upon reading the article from “the
psychologist” journal is the article relating to the business study today
regarding “digital natives and digital tourists”. Though this topic is so common in any
business marketing research but the article shows the psychological effect of
the issue. Moreover, the articles exemplify the usage of digital gadgets not in
business or any field of study but in education itself.
The huge psychological effect of internet
usage comes from the actual procedure of students in the classroom. When students will embrace the technological
leap of communication integrated in their studies, the flow of communication as
well as the knowledge sharing is faster compared to the traditional study
before.
The continued research studies from the American
Psychological Association and The British Psychological Society will always guide
the path in embracing the evolution of human associations and relationships. By the next few years, governments, cultures,
and religious groups need to unify their beliefs and activities in order to
achieve the lasting peace and order for every global citizen. With this concept, the role of Psychology and
the Psychologist in particular is to assist the minds of the general public in
accepting the global psychological and anthropological change.
