I can still remember the movie (the
good the bad and the ugly) this movie portrays the US society somewhere between
World War 1 & 2 that every US citizen is carrying their own 38 pistol for
self defense and survival.
The lawless
picture society at that time is a continued threat to the normal citizens in
US. Sheriffs try to keep the society
peaceful but citizens carrying their own guns in supermarket are not a wise
idea for a more peaceful society. Until
today guns in US is easier to acquire compared to other parts of the
world.
With this regard, law and order
must be implemented in such a way that the normal citizen will not think of carrying
their own gun for self defense in public.
On the side of the people, carrying a gun in public is a sign that the
law and order in a given society is weak to handle any criminal circumstance.
The latest viral news online regarding
gun banned inside Starbucks coffee shop shows the society’s insecure living status. If we compare this given scenario with the
living conditions in Iraq and other nations having problems with national
security, there is no far deference comparing the mental condition of the
society when it comes to safety.
The new
case of Starbucks alarms the whole business society considering the constant
carrying of guns by the normal citizens in U.S.
To elaborate, the cases in US schools where unwanted underage criminal
offense are being noticed due to the lenient gun ordinance being implemented by
the government.
If we look at the case
in a wider context, universal problem of gun ownership will always be a big
issue mostly in countries that law and order are not well ratified according to
the actual existence of the society. If
the society evolves in living condition, government security and law must also
upgrade in order to reciprocate the society’s security demand.
