Korea’s Military Hardware Air Supremacy (Korea Aerospace Industries)

More and more countries in Asia and the ASEAN members like the Philippines and Indonesia are buying air “military hardwares” from Korea. Recently the Philippines are buying 21 units of F-50s for defense purposes. Discussing more in terms of technology and business, Korean fighter jets are more affordable compared to other first class technology jets from US.

Though the Korea Aerospace Industries started just around 1997 but the manufacturing standards are being controlled by Lockheed Martin of USA (Makers of F-35). At present time Lockheed Martin is focusing their manufacturing and technology towards robotics and unmanned systems (UAV) or commonly known as “Drone”.

As for the technology of F-50 Korea, the computer systems inside the fighter jets are as the same standard with American Jet Fighters. For smaller countries with lower government budget for military defense like the Philippines and Indonesia, Lockheed Martin Asia (South Korea) is the best place for military hardware shopping.
