Is it because of the new investment motives?... why Sony
VAIO is selling their PC line to other company?
The viral twit regarding the famous computer product sellout creates a
marketing tremor to the whole Panasonic company.
By selling the VAIO computer
to Japan Industrial Partners, do you think it will create a positive PR
response to the global market? PC
industry today is shifting to mobile business.
As for Sony Company, mobile computing Xperia is their new product to
compete with the mobile computing market.
But as to VAIO what is the positive outlook of Japan Industrial Partners
towards the PC product VAIO.
I believe demands for PC is still vibrant in spite of the
mobile computing revolution. The sales
of laptop computers are still satisfactorily above the break-even point but
with the case of VAIO the company’s focus towards the product in terms of
marketing and R&D are neglected for few years now.
Unlike other brands like Apple, Samsung,
Dell, & Asus; their continued design & innovation will allure the changing
behavior of the market. At this point in
time many PC users are still dependent with their laptop and desktops for
office works and tasks. It is a matter
of innovating things that will create a marketing spark to your usual product
sold.
