Samsung Buyout Blackberry?





With the new buzz of smartphone technology, the famous blackberry company is being planned to be bought by Samsung company. Buying other companies today is a common business tie-up in order to achieve  bigger profit and minimizing marketing cost.  But the big question is, why Blackberry wasn’t able to perform the best strategy for the market.  



As far as I can remember the security advantages of Blackberry entices customer to buy the expensive phone at that time that even the President of the United States is using the product without any endorsement fees.  Samsung likewise is in a negative marketing scenario knowing that Apple company is always filling lawsuits in terms of its originality and patent issues.


But as of today, Samsung Company is planning to buy Blackberry.   The business buzz creates the case as to which is more important, the technology that drives value or the marketing strategy that drives the customers willingness to buy the product.  For the moment the issue is still pending but many marketing and financial analyst are anticipating that Samsung is just buying the company not to continue and help expand the business of Blackberry but to kill the brand Blackberry in the market.  I’m looking forward to avail the academic comments and reviews specially the case study reviews from other academic institutions for business and marketing academic discussions.
