Happy all Year Round; Duterte the Good Provider (Food Program Against Poverty)

Reading various online feeds regarding the political platform of Mayor Duterte, one that inspires me the most is the food program of the mayor for the country Philippines once he will be the next President this coming May elections. Some social media pro comments of Duterte conveys the importance of food supply program of the country. Many citizens of the country Philippines today are suffering the high cost of food commodity were the basic salary wage of every Filipino per day is not enough to buy the whole food supply for the family. In his future plans maybe he will augment the production of food from the local farmers of the Philippines with its reference from the SME organizations uniquely designed from the different Federal states or provinces across the country. As of today the clear economic setup of our national rice supply for example is that we try to import more cheap rice and try to kill the local rice growers. Further case implications directs to the case of rice smuggling (Example. Davidson Bangayan case) that will encourage the rice cartel businessmen to control the supply and intimidate the SME local farmers. These rice cartels will encourage rice smuggling in the long-run since the supply of rice in the country is not that enough to cover the whole populace. The awkward setup of the food supply in the country Philippines does not cover only the Rice industry but rather almost all the food commodities of the land. As a result the people of the Philippines are already MAD for change because it is blatantly executed without any ethical reservations.

In terms of the local farmers today, selling their local produce is as hard as gaining the break-even of their capital or the return of investment. In this case, the farmers will become poorer and poorer until they cannot finance their next cropping period. Though the DTI has their LGU programs together with the agriculture and DENR departments, still the radical shift of policies must take place in order to radically change the system and the whole selling price of the food commodity of the country. Seldom can we find world leaders who are so concern with the food program of the country. So far as I can remember only Mother Theresa who is so concern with the poor and their way of life. Why not give our country a chance to have a food program that everyone wants. Looking forward to have a happy all year round with President Duterte.
