The passion and determination of
Altair to fight against the Templars in the novel Assassin’s Creed depicts the
intense effect of life’s experience affecting the behavior of a person. The computer game is popular both in movies
and novel that it captivates the minds of the readers through the different scenes
of seasons and episodes. The novel is
divided into six book topics, the first book that I’m reading at the moment is
the secret crusade which portrays the childhood experience of Altair were
Altair’s father is killed by a Templar street war encounter. In this part of Altair’s life, the negative
family experience that he experienced gave him the motivation to go through life’s
challenges in terms of his training as an assassin.
Running from one fighting scene to another
risking his life and exhausting his human body just to fulfill and follow the
creed. But what is creed by the
way. If we look at the formal definition
of creed it will flows down to the beliefs of an individual given by a
religious group or a formed cultural group.
The strong ripple effect of beliefs that causes war in the novel will
give the reader a parallel view of our modern civilization today. Creeds in various definitions today are still
reflected from the modern human civilization.
The novel on the other hand portrays different scenes that will give the
reader or the player of the video game the adventure of different civilization.
If you follow deeply the content
of the novel and the determination of the characters to fight in terms of their
creeds, I may say in my opinion that base from the novel sometimes beliefs are stronger
that will logically and physically destroy human lives without any sense in
our modern times. Finally we can ask ourselves, do we still
need the old Assassin’s Creed? Or the Creed of Humanity?
