Comparing the many episodes of macro and micro wars of the
world it will allow every person who study the history of world wars wonder as
to who and what they are fighting for. Since civilization started war is inevitable. As to what reason it may seem war either physical
or diplomatic usually it always cry for freedom. Everyone wants freedom,
according to the writings of Fukuyama it is a natural thing for people or human
being to find space and freedom. As civilization starts to grow its population
in a rapid manner, freedom and rights starts to get complicated both in
practical life and theory. Diplomatic
negotiations between countries starts to get complicated in terms of political
ideologies. Capitalism and Communism
started after the era when religion is the only moral basis of laws of the
land. After the time of the Romanovs for
example, the Idea of Communism started in the mind of Karl Marx and later
continued by Lenin.
Capitalism on the other hand started also from the pioneering
minds of Adam Smith, John Stuart Mill, David Ricardo, Thomas Malthus and many
more. All of these new theories of Capitalism and Communism change the
governance to a more political ideology perspective compared to the olden type
of governance which is more biblical moral values. Capitalism and Communism was started to be
adopted in many governments around the world starting from Karl Marx for
example and seeding the ideology to Lenin on the train. The book of Archie Brown depicts the rise and
fall of communism around the globe. The epic
ending of the communist republic of Russia during Mikhail Gorbachev marks the
moment that communism did not succeed in the aspect of public governance.
Many academic authors like Catherine Merridale who wrote
Lenin on The Train, Hannah Arendt who wrote The Origins of Totalitarianism,
Erik Larson who wrote in the Garden of Beast proves that communism doesn’t
prove a holistic kind of governance that during the time of Lenin people of
Russia are still in hunger. Even during the time of Hitler, Germany at that
time is so busy making more war machines that they forget that to have an
ideology and a government they are not only building military infrastructure but
rather one must build a nation. Thus,
Germany did not succeed during that time.
But come to think of it that during the time when Lenin is on the Train
and Mao is trying to topple down the empire of China all they promise to the
people is the ideology of communism that someday there is “Utopia” that
everyone is equal in the sight of the government. But instead the history of communism proves
not the “Utopia” that the main ideology had promised but rather the hunger in
Cuba, North Korea, and Vietnam will prove to the world that communism doesn’t
fit to the modern governance of the many governments around the world. On the
contrary, capitalism also is not that perfect.
The writings of Noam Chomsky proves the many failures of
America committed during the war in Iraq and Afghanistan until today. Noam Chomsky’s literatures will open the
minds of the people how the “Utopia” of Karl Marx will relive to this modern
generation. But according to Fukuyama in
his book the political decay, both communism and capitalism are starting to
decay as a pattern of governance just like the many religions that they follow
during the olden times. The Manifesto during 1848 written by Karl Marx and his
co-author Friedrich Engels rocks the Imperial Russia and became the Soviet
Union. Since the middle class is
dreaming of that “utopia” of equality in governance, communism is very famous
around the world that the ideology flows rapidly like volcanic lava that almost
everyone in the world wants to adopt the communism kind of governance. Lenin
prove to the imperial Russia while Mao in China also poisoned the minds of the
youth to adopt the “utopian” creed of communism.
CHURCHILL's FREEDOM
WAR IN VIETNAM
EARLY COMMUNISM:
Marx and Engels just made and formulated the communist
ideology into a summarized and defined way of presentation. But the concept of the said ideology started
also from the religious groups that are discontented with the main Christian
group in Germany and formed a smaller Christian communistic institution headed
by a German historian MAX BEER. In the second half of the century, St. Ambrose,
The Bishop of Milan (the mentor of St. Augustine), declared: “Nature has poured
forth all things for all men, to be held in common. For God commanded all
things to be produced so that food should be common to all things to be
produced so that food should be common to all, and that the earth should be a
common possession of all.” Later, English church reformer JOHN WYCLIFFE assumed
that the earliest form of human society was one of “innocence and communism."
Many more religious
icons in US supported the ideology like BOHEMIA, JAN HUS who dislike the church
in Vatican arguing that the papacy was a human, not a divine, institution. But all of these are just the fruit of the
discontent when they are still in the same congregation in Rome. Thus, Lenin,
Mao, Hitler and the Neo Nazis wants to prove that communism is the ultimate
Utopia of public governance. But the
dismay of the people of the world that communism hasn’t prove its best in terms
of public governance when Germany headed by Hitler did not succeeded the war in
Europe. WINSTON CHURCHILL and the allied
forces toppled down the Morale of Germany and prevailed the might of England
and the allied forces. Same is true
during the Cold War and the Vietnam War.
Communism has not proven its versatility in all aspects of
governance. Capitalism on the other hand
succeeded the economics aspect of Capitalism after World War 2. But according to Fukuyama Capitalism today
has its downturn also specifically during the world crisis somewhere in 2008. But again these two ideologies are the same
ideologies that linger in the minds of the youth that sometimes creates
discontent of the party which will create a havoc of discontent and political
cry. But to the many youth of today fighting for freedom in a political sense
sometimes confuses the general public as to what kind of freedom they are
crying of.
If one minority group
is in discontent that minority group will cry for freedom and vice versa.
Fukuyama proves the chronological pattern of political governance that from
religious oriented governance came the ideology oriented governance until
today. But the evolution of political
governance pattern will turn its pages to a more scientific kind of governance
that logic and science has a more role in public policy. I did not say that, but the analysis of the
many scholars specifically the study of Fukuyama. Come to think of it that governance and
politics had a long way since the tribal war in Papua New Guinea, The Dynasties
in China and the Imperials in Russia, down to the modern governance of American
Capitalism and the most awaited future of scientific and more logical
governance. What kind of “Shout” you have today? Capitalism or Communism? Do
you think Capitalism and Communism are still sensible in the future of public
administration and governance or there will be an emergence of new public
order?
